A foundation year is essentially just an extra year at the beginning of a university course. It helps you prepare that little extra and gets you one step closer to studying for your full degree. if you are just getting back into education a foundation year can be something to consider as it gives you that extra confidence boosts as well as refreshing your knowledge to move straight on to studying your degree, it’s also very likely that the university will give you and offer to study your degree with a foundation year included. Length of Foundation Year is 9 months to 12 months. Foundation Year can be named as a “International Foundation Year” or “International Foundation Zero”.
